Discipline already?!

We are currently in the middle of teaching Haven the meaning of "NO" and following it up with a small squeeze or pinch on the arm if she decides not to listen. She is beginning to test boundaries and see if mom and dad are serious about the "NO" thing. Currently, she enjoys screaming at random times (especially in stores and public places) and dropping food off her high chair. Nate and I try to remain consistent and tough... but I am sure there are a few books I need to be reading about this discipline stuff!!

Fun in the sun on the Cali coast

Haven was lucky enough to spend an afternoon at Newport Beach with Nana and Great Auntie Dea. From what I was told, she wasn't too fond of sand between her toes or waves chasing her...

Pucker Up!

Haven loves to give kisses and makes the cutest "pucker" face when we ask for a kiss. She will smack a wet one on anybody too!

Haven and Fancy Pants.... Best Buds Forever!

Haven loves dogs... and is crazy about Nate's mom's little designer dog, Fancy Pants. Haven was lucky enough to spend a whole week with Nana and Fancy Pants! Nate and I met some friends of ours in Maui, Hawaii for a week. My mother-in-law, Jill, was so gracious to be super nana for a week and take care of Haven at her sister-in-law's house outside of Los Angeles. It was a great weekend for ALL of us!

Lisa's Wedding!

One of my dearest friends, Lisa Fryer, became Lisa Tuiasopo on Saturday, March 3rd. It was a big day and fun weekend for everyone! Lisa married Marques Tuiasopo, the former star quarterback for the Washington Huskies (1997-2001). He is still in the NFL as a free agent and will be signing with a new team soon! I am so excited for this couple's bright future and was honored to be apart of their beautiful wedding. My parents were gracious enough to watch Haven while I was busy with bridesmaid duties. My mom even got the curlers out for the big event!
