Easter

Today was so special. We woke up with the "Easter Bunny" ringing the doorbell. Haven went to go see who it was and was delighted to find her Easter basket, however, was really annoyed that the Easter Bunny didn't say "hi"... we told her he had to go deliver more baskets to other kids. Busy bunny.

We then went to church and enjoyed a great service. I was reminded that the women who first saw Jesus after his resurrection didn't see him first before the apostles because they were specially chosen by God for a deeper, more meaningful reason. Nope. They saw Him first because they were at his tomb first! Simple as that. Reminded me to be a woman like that who is always chasing after Christ... wanting to be close!

We headed to my in-laws for Easter lunch with friends and family. Yum... turkey, mashed potatoes and all the great other sides.

Then, I came home and cleaned house. It was a mess. But, we are finally unpacked now!

Wonderful Easter...
